You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view PDF files How do I know how many boxes I will need? A 5-minute phone call with one of our customer service reps can determine your exact price and storage needs. How do I get my packing material? Approximately one week before your scheduled pick-up, all materials will be delivered to your campus (most likely your scheduled reading day). You will be notified of the date, time and location via email. Or, you can visit the web site at www.thestudentstorage.com for schedule. You will be notified of the exact time and location of your drop. Are my items safe and insured? All items are stored in our professional movers' storage facilities. They are fully secure, climate-controlled warehouses. Insurance can be purchased one and/or two ways:
Can I store items that won't fit into a box? The Student Storage Company can store any item that you need to leave behind. We store futons, trunks, furniture, desks, beds, refrigerators, chairs, etc... What methods of payment do you accept? Credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as personal checks. NO CASH !!!! When do I get billed? All clients will be billed $25.00 when the packing materials have been ordered, and the balance is not due until the pick-up has been completed. How do you keep track of items so they don't get lost or mixed with others? All customers receive a detailed inventory list of all the items that were signed in on pick-up. Once the items enter the warehouse, they are rechecked. Upon delivery in the fall the inventory list is re-checked and signed. Can I cancel my order? All orders can be cancelled without penalty up until 2 weeks prior to pick-up. If cancellation occurs after the materials have been delivered, the client will forfeit the $25.00. Do you pick -up and deliver Off Campus? The Student Storage Company can pick-up whether you live in a dorm or off-campus in an apartment. All deliveries in the Fall will also be back to your door. What if I bring out more or less than I ordered? No problem, you will only be billed for the amount of items you store. Remember there is no minimum or maximum amount a client needs to store. Can I pull my items out of storage early? We work with RAs and student atheletes to ensure their stored items are available for early arrival. Also, items can be pulled out over the summer. However, there is a $50.00 fee to pull items from the warehouse and a $175 fee for delivery. Prices are subject to change without notice. Hours:
